Fall doesn't truly victorious in southern California until November but today was a much-needed sneak peek. A chilly, overcast day in September is quite uncommon but so incredibly welcome! It inspired me to share flipside festive spread from Vegan Boards, my second cookbook that I released older this year. If you don't have your reprinting yet, perhaps this variety of seasonal fruits, veggies, snacks, and soup shooters will requite you a nudge in the right direction. The Fall Harvest Workbench is one of my wool favorite boards in the unshortened book!
Every workbench in Vegan Boards has at least one homemade recipe on it so you can finger good well-nigh the fresh foods you serve your family and guests. This workbench happens to have two recipes on it, which you'll find indexed in the when of the cookbook. Here we have a batch of Butternut Squash Soup Shooters, which is a really fun way to serve soup in a sip-able format. You'll moreover make a batch of Maple & Date Sweet Potato Dip, which is quite possibly the most succulent sweet potato recipe I've had the pleasure of creating. Graham cracker and sliced world make perfect dippers!
Dried fruit, Belgian endive, petite carrots, and grapes lend increasingly fall flavor, color, and texture to this festive vegan board. Pro tip: make it easy for your guests to graze on grapes by using scissors to snip big clusters into grab-able ones. Green grapes are my favorite, but I think these tiny champagne grapes add such lovely contrast. They're super fun to eat, too!
You can find Vegan Boards at most major retailers including Amazon, Target, and Barnes and Noble. That said, I encourage you to explore self-sustaining bookstores to see if you can grab a reprinting locally while supporting a small business. If you once have a reprinting of Vegan Boards, please consider writing an honest review online. Your review helps others interested in vegan cooking and entertaining find the recipes and serving ideas they're looking for. While you're at it, leave me a scuttlebutt unelevated and let me know which workbench has been your favorite or the most fun to create.
Happy grazing!
